LPA-1 XRF Lead Paint Inspection System Licensing and Training

There are Lead paint inspectors throughout the United States, Puerto Rico, and Europe that are currently using the RMD LPA-1 system. Our instruments are owned and operated by City, County and State Health Departments, Childhood Lead Prevention Programs, Housing Authorities, Community Action Programs, as well as, the U.S. Military, VA Hospitals, National Inspection Companies and Private Inspectors.

In order for RMD Instruments Corp to deliver any LPA-1 system, three items must be completed:

  1. The user must receive a license or registration from the local state agency registering the radioactive source (Cobalt-57). A copy of the license or registration maybe mailed or faxed to RMD prior to shipment. Depending on the state, the LPA-1 may be covered by a General License, a Specific License or require Registration.
  2. State Radioactive Material License Information.

  3. Second, the user must complete a factory authorized training course. The training, provided by RMD, can be completed in one day and is included in the purchase price.
  4. RMD factory authorized training schedule and information.

  5. Finally, payment must be arranged. Accepted methods include a all major credit cards, certified or bank check, a signed and approved lease agreement, or an institution or government purchase order.
  6. Lease-to-own program application for the RMD LPA-1 system.
